So to tune a engine you start with the LSN then HSN, and last idle screw?

During break in, yes. That's because most new engines won't idle right when new. Once an engine is broken in you make sure the lsn/idle is close to where it should be, then start tuning the hsn first. I use Robin's method it's almost foolproof.

if it dosent start with stock setting on revo stock setting wont let it go into second gear turn the hsn about 1?2 turn and it will lean it out a buit to allow it to go into second gear but if it dosent strart it might be your carb

I would have to go with Rolex on this one. He really knows what he's doing, since he's been doing it since the Stone Age. You always tune the LSN then the HSN. The HSN only controls the mixture above 2/3 throttle. It's kind of like tuning the secondary on a 4 bbl carb before getting it idling right.

Go over to ERCM vendor page on the forums and checkout his tuning guide...It helped wonders for me!
