I have a revo 3.3 and I'm about to install a dynamite .19t in it and was wondering what spur/pinion combo I should go with. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Cannibal52

I'd stick with the stock and go from there.

I'm assuming the truck is stock, tires/gearing and no real big weight adders.

Well...as it turns out the dynamite .19t doesn't fit in all traxxas nitro vehicles. I ended up pulling the 3.3 out of my rustler and putting that in my Revo and I put the .19t in the rustler. Now I'm waiting until spring to break it in.

The dynamite block has tabs on bottom of engine that prevent it from sitting in stock mount. I had one and cut the tabs of carefully with a dermal. Then it dropped right into place.

I have a Rusty with a Dynamite .19 in it...it fit just fine without any mods, so how is it that a 3.3 will fit in both, but the Dyn .19 will fit in one but not the other?

I ask because I'm just about to order another .19 to put into my Revo.

The revo motor mount is rounded and the motor has tabs. Thats the exact problem.

How does the rustler run with the 19? Is it fast?

Don't know about the .19 but I had a fantom .18 in a rustler, That engine was a screamer, my brother also has a 3.3 in his Rustler, 3.3 in rustler= 1/10th scale bullet:D

The .19 in the Rusty's not too bad. It's got a bit more spool-up to it than the 2.5 I had it in before did, but once it gets up there, it's pretty quick.

Plus, it sounds more throaty than the TRX motors do, which I kinda like.

I have my Rusty for sale up on eBay, if you want to see pics of it. I won't post a link here, 'cause that seems like it might be against the rules, but I"ll send a PM or something, I suppose.
