Ya, it's set at 4 1/2 turns.

I'm just to busy to see if leaning it out will do any good. I hope to get a chance to mess with it this weekend but my time maybe spent moving stuff to the new home.

Thanks for the tips

Ok, I finnaly got a little time to mess with the Revo today. The only problem is, the out side temp is about 20 degrees cooler than it was when this all started. So I'm not sure how this will effect my figuring this truck's issues out.

Anyways, it took me forever to get her running no matter where I had HSN set to. This was the fisrt time she was a PITA to start. I usualy get her running in a few seconds. So I pulled the GP out and dropped in some fuel. She started up but kept dieing for a minute until she stay started. The truck ran pretty dang good for a while. Then I had to park her so I could go to the new house to let the movers in. Once I got back, she started this whole dieing thing all over again accept this time she wouldn't bog before she died. I tried seeing if 4 1/2 turns was to much by setting it at 3 1/2 turns. This only caused her to die at full throttle. So I moved her to 4 turns and she did great besides the dieing issue I'm having. The I did the pench test which I'm not sure what it indecates....I did it three times and she died right at 2 seconds every time? Well thats all I got for now...

Thanks
Ray

Too lean on the pinch test. Should run for 4-5 seconds and slightly speed up just before it dies. Less than 5 too lean, longer than 5 and kinda sputtery too rich. This is all for the LSN. Also you are doing the pinch after letting it run for a little and making a couple passes right? You should not do the pinch if you just sitting there idling for too long as the engine loads up anyway.

Yes sir, I was making as many laps as I could testing other things. The pinch test was the last thing I did an thus she was pretty warmed up. I would also like to mention, no matter what I did, I couldn't get her past 200 degrees. So anyways, what is the best way to set the LSN, I mean is it the same way setting it as the HSN?

Thanks again

Well here is what I've done so far with zero luck.

First thing was I farted around with the Pinch test and the HSN/LSN's. It took a pretty good bit of time to get her to dieing right at 5 seconds on the pinch. Once this was done, I couldn't get her higher than 200 degrees and she still died a lot on me??? I got her around 220 once using the HSN but she died around 3 seconds on the pinch test afterwards. The truck was pretty warm when all test was performed, I ran a tank of fueling doing it.

The second thing I did was to check the fuel lines and tank for air leaks. I bought a cheap fish tank air pump at the local pet store. I pured some water in the tank and added some dish soap. Then I pluged a screw into the fuel line and the pressire line into the air pump. The only leak I got was water seeping by the screw. When I poped the gas lid afterwards, you could hear the pressure inside the tank excape, so I'm guessing the test worked even though it was positive results.

Anyone know what to do from here?

Thanks for the help

I'm using the Mccoy 59's and yes the compression seems pretty good. It's not a new motor but it doesn't turn by hand real easy when warm either. Well I also blew through the pressure line with water still in the tank to make sure the line wasn't clugged. The water flowed real even with zero hesitation. I'm wondering if the pipe is clugged up? If I can find me a compressure, I'll see about blowing it out. I got a compressure but it's still boxed up waiting on the shop to get finnished :( I'm also wondering if the carb is gumed up some how. The first time I started farting with this three days ago, I actually had to prime the motor to get her to start. Even then you didn't just start right up and run. This is highly unusual, she almost always just fires up after a half second with my fingure on the tail pipe. I've sprayed carb cleaner in the carb and ARO in the motor but it doesn't seem to help much. Oh well, I'll try looking into that other stuff when I get some time. I really need to figure out how to rip stuff off that 2.5 to install on my OS .18TM I got sitting here. They way I can tell if it's my 2.5 or something else causing me greif.

Thanks
Ray
