Revo fuel tank

I've got a Revo on the way...so I was perusing the goodies available on Towers site putting together a list for the LHS. Anyway I ran onto these. I've heard guys at the track complaining about the very problem you guys are describing and then bitching that they had to spend $5 for a rebuild kit when all they needed was the O-Ring.

Can't really tell, but it sounds like they've finally decided to sell the O-Ring seperate.

I saw it earlier then went back to get the link to post up here....Couldn't find it...thought maybe I was crazy....then finally there it was......under the catagorie....."R/C Engine Needle Valves"....WTF :shrug: ...no wonder my searches where coming up empty.

Yeah they finally came out with just an o-ring package with two o-rings in it. They say they are the same material as the old one but they definitely are different. Different color, different feel different elasticity. Picked mine up about 2 weeks ago just haven't put in on yet.

Hey RR if you registered your revo, call Traxxas CS and they will send you two free if you tell them you had a problem. I bought two packs myself but after seeing them I pretty sure these will last. I deal with a million different kinds of o-rings on airplanes and these are really good quality compared to the original blue.
