Decided to convert my Slayer to a Revo. Bought a full set of RPM arms as well as a revo roller (traded an SC10 that was getting dusty for it). I went with the true-track rear arms. Right now I'm just waiting on some more parts to finish up the transmission. Then the motor decision will be made. The 3.3 i had in my Slayer needs a rebuild and i was thinking about replacing it with a .18 or .21 OS TM or TZ if i could track one down.

Got a question about the push rods and tie rods and the TRX CVD's. Currently i have a set of P3 rockers on my slayer is there a certain part# i need for the "red tubes" there was a set of push rods on the roller but they say P1/P2. Is there a separate set for the P3? or should i switch back to the P2..

Also are there any restrictions on the Traxxas CVD set? part # 5451R or do you just run into problems when you're using the LT stuff?

Heres is a pic of my progress so far. (i have the slayer shafts in there to mount the wheels for pics)

might add, i plan on keeping the nerf bars on there as i have grown quite fond of using them as a carry handle and i think they might work pretty well with my Proline Helios body :)

swap is done, just waiting on the body and my motor.

went with the RPM true-trax out back - weird not having a turnbuckle there lol

Very nice. I like the nerf bars on the Revo. I might have tot rack some down and through them on.

I'm planning on an OS.21tm at the moment. might settle for an .18 just waiting to hear what a friend of mine has available. Any i really like the nerf bars too, I'm hoping they fit well with my Helios body, i got used to picking the truck up with them.

Hows that old saying go...
"You can make a Revo out of a Slayer but you can't take the Slayer out of the Revo"... ??? O,o Something like that haha. Minus the OS.21TM in a couple weeks shes ready to go.. for now anyways.

Decided to play "make it fit" tonight with the Desert Rat shell I had for the Slayer. The painted Gold on the outside prografix body from the 2.5r roller just wasn't cutting it

Finally ready to go. Oh except for a motor. LHS is back ordered into oblivion on the OS.21TM so I'm thinking about going with a Picco .26 Maxx but i have a quick question.

What is the difference between the stock .26Maxx and the .26Maxx JL Red-Dot? Pricing is basically identical.
