I took my VENOM temp failsafe off today because it was messing my truck up. So I figured I'd test that built in failsafe everyone keeps saying the 3.3 has and thank god It was only a test!!!!!!!! I got it going at a good clip and turned my radio off and it just kept rolling real fast at a curb. The throttle went off but 25% brake did nothing at that speed. Trust me get a real failsafe or someday you will be sorry!!!!!!!!

Ofna micro's are a good choice. Venom also has a good one but it is not as small at the ofna.

I bench tested it with gas full, shut down radio and gas went to almost closed. I let go of triger and turned radio back on and gas went to full off. so it didn't even apply 25% brake. The gas was still alittle on. That sounds like a run away waiting to happen. Do I have to program it? Is there a way to turn it on? I set it like the manual said to.

I have been running a Spektrum RX on my Revo and it has a built-in fail-safe. I've tested it with multiple vehicles and it works. Just my :2cents:.

I shot my venom down because it would let the truck go like 100 - 150 feet and stop. What is the distance you get with the Ofna. I know mine is way short, when I shut it down the truck would go 3 times further. It just to scary without one.
