Hey everyone. I'm a long time basher with a T-Maxx.. I finally decided to see what the Revo is all about. I just picked it up today. I was wondering if there were very common parts that break on the Revo such as the plastic bulkheads on the T-maxx... and what better option parts I may want to consider. So, if you have hop-up parts that you would recommend over stock.. please, do tell! I learned on my own about what were good and bad products for the T-maxx on my own, but if you all could save me some time it would be awesome. Thanks.

My Revo has been pretty durable. I'd recommend a wing and even the chassis brace for the engine area. That will keep your chassis from bending when your flip onto the lid.
Most will recommend the RPM arms all the way around, but my stock arms have stood up just fine over the last 2 years.

as was stated before the revo is a pretty durable truck. .but if you want it to be more durable and just more fun. . .RPM a arms all the way around, rebuild your shocks with heavier oil. . .ditch the talon tires and go with a set of proline tires of your choice. . .and go to a 40 series wheel and tire combo, if you want more power you can change ur engine. . .i reccomend the Picco .26 maxx or JL Reddot, change your clutchbell and spur gear to make it faster or more punchy(depending on what you want) and change ur exhaust to the traxxas tuned pipe, single chamber chrome or you can go to a side pipe (dynamite 053 i have heard alot of good stuff about) and put a wing on it too. . it helps out with rollovers and wheelies and it just looks cool. . .bear in mind these are just my opinions and most of the stuff i have done to mine and it is a blast to drive(minus the side pipe). . like i said just my :2cents:

alright then, thanks guys. I was hoping to break it in today but mother nature decided to suck today.

The only thing I really did to my Revo was to ditch the reverse and add the forward only conversion (FOC). I blew reverse out two days after I got it.
