Does anyone make stronger gears for the Revo yet?
I held off getting one before now cause I wanted to be able to hop it up and I know drivelines are the first to get tore up...well the list for parts gets bigger so I'm now lookin at Revo time...what's the list of hop ups you guys have so far...whats? the critical failure points on the Revo?
how about a thread of what U got on yur revo??
discuss openly amongst yaselves
and let us all know whatcha got so far and what ya wanna git....

Big E, Check out the pics of my revo I posted up. I also gave a list of the hopups on it.

Aluminium shock ends are a must. other then that they are almost bullet proof as is. If you are going to run the stock 2.5r, you want to look at lightening the truck up some, along with doing away wiht some of the rotating weight. Such as installing a forward only kit. also with the stock engine, the lowered gear ratio kits come in handy. Umm let' see what else. you'll want to use p2 rockers, and thats about all I can think of right now.

cool, thanks for the tips.....does anybody make hardened gears yet...like the RRP stuff? I know the MIP CVDs are out now and RPM makes their bulletproof arms too.......tranny gears and such? are they out yet?

As far as I know there are no hardened gears available yet like the LST has, but you should hold out fine unless you go with a BB. FOC is a must, especially if you plan to race it. P2 rockers are another must have as well as aluminum shock ends. I have RD Racings and they're pretty nice. Patiently waiting for my RD starter box so I can shitcan the Sleazy start. Single steering servo is a pretty good benefit as well. I have a JR on mine and was pretty impressed. On the underside, shave the stops off the steering block, it will give you a little more travel on the steering arm. Also Pro-line makes a nice alloy steering arm for single servo, beefier plus you don't have the other half of the arm dangling out in the breeze. Motor Saver air filter is another must have, major improvement and you can mount in to the stock neck by drilling up 7/8". The RPM arms are pretty nice I've been told but haven't picked them up yet. I also recommend some shock socks, you can get them cheap and they are more than just a little bling. I got a nice set from TuffTrux on eBay. And one more thing, once I get my Crowd Pleazer done I'll be getting some parts together from a Mugen 1/8th buggy wing or a Kyosho and mounting a wing on the back.
HTH,
Frank

cool...I guess I'm going to be looking for a roller soon....I saw some revos this weekend at mills pond that flew better than some of the buggies that were running.....I need to cull the herd before I start looking for the revo though...well I guess I don't have to cull that much now as some little bastids helped do that for me.....LOL....anyway thanks for the updates on Revo tech guys....

so I'm bringing this thread back to life. lol. wat are some good drive terrain parts for a bb engine
