In my revo i have a picco 28 and i was doing donuts and melted the rear plastic diff cup what should i replace it with

stock plastic cup and stop doing :constipat

or get an aluminum cup

also if there is anything else i need to rebuid these please tell me thanks

I'm not sure, u might have a hard time finding something that will hold up to that much power. I have the picco 26 in mine, and haven't had any trouble melting cases. Maybe you should just hold the donuts to a minimum? What weight diff oil were you runnin?

you might want to try a heavier oil. I run 40 in the rear 30 in the front(30wt. is stock for both front and rear). R U running a center diff?

not sure, depends whether the added weight is a problem for you. everyone I run with still runs w/plastic cups. did you melt your bearings too, if so maybe your problem started there and the diff cup didn't stand a chance??

If you bash it hard some al. cups will be a good investment. Doughnuts kill diffs plain and simple though. Cut a few then drive away. Keep doing them over and over, and you can expect something to break.

ok ill stop the full spead donuts then but what brand of diff cups should buy and do they need to be shimed

Don't know, I just run the stockers and service them every two hours of runtime.
I have heard a lot of good stuff about Maximizers. If you cut down on the doughnuts I'm sure the stock plastic cups will hold up fine. You probably overheated that diff cup due to all the diff fluid flying out during doughnuts. You have to keep a check on them, every gallon of fuel or so is a good time to check on them.

alright i think i will get the stock ones and put 30 wt in front and 40wt in back and see if she hold up. Then ill get u that vid. u asked about.

wrong forum kinda but the p3-28 has had some tuning issues then i sealed it but i can't get it to run right, i have been using rb med plug, but what plug is the best for a p3-28 with a turbo head

Don't have a clue, sorry. I have never owned a Picco.
