I have serious problem with RB .23 engine replacement for Revo. I have tried all the recommendations I've came across but engine still stalls 8 out 10 times coming out of an approx. 170 degree left turn and only just pulls thru on shorter / slower bends on the track here. And yes, I have checked the complete fuel and exhaust lines for leaks and pressure (and read about other guys that replaced all of this and still problem wouldn’t go away). And yes, this happens with full, 3/4 and less fuel in the tank and with engine tuned with full tank and with half tank). Yes, the fuel tube is empty when you get to the car after it stalled. Yes the looped tubing and line filter are installed. Yes the engine does push the fuel back into tank when you attempt starting the engine with throttle slightly open. And yes, I can confirm that this engine immediately struggles even at idle with car turned on its side (left or right at approx. 30 – 40 degrees) with the fuel tank installed AND also with the fuel tank being removed and held upright and just turning the car on its side at 30 – 45 degrees....
I’m not an expert but logic tells me that since there are more and more complaints where the EXACT same problems manifest, that there is more into this. Especially since these are still isolated incidents where, from my reading on forums etc, the bulk of RB owners are very happy with their setup. I guess there can be some sort of back pressure from carb to tank or other weird problem if there was a weird problem with the production line at a point in time?? Therefore maybe that’s why only few RB .23s are affected?? I just don’t know but do know that my Revo and RB combination as it is now is totally useless and I would not at all be able to compete with it. The guys at the track would break themselves…
Does anyone have any more ideas or has anyone solved this problem 100%??
Kind regards
