Can some one tell me how the cars acts if the battery of the revo itself was to be low?
I charged my car 2 days ago took it outside today and it was driving excellent until i noticed that after a while the car was not recieving signal from a long distance. I would walk to my car and it would pick up and move and then back to the same ol. Now my question would be if i charged my car and didnt use it in one whol day would the battery have low cell from the car.
I took it to my hobbie shop and he said that happens when the batter to the car dies. And the car will go full throttle without me hitting the throttle button.
Please give me your input
thanx

i like to charge the night before if i plan to use it ..or plug it in a couple hours just before i use it ..just to top off the batteries ....you should get an extra battery pack also ..that way youll have spare power ;) ...i noticed that the traxxas batteries dont hold a full charge for to long ...but just a couple days should not be to bad ...maybe you have a bad pack

It can stop or go full throttle if the battery is down since it shortens the range of the receiver.
You really should add a failsafe to the system to prevent any chance of a runaway.

Rolex, I'd like to add these FS to my Revo just for safety. If you don't mind, can you educate me on what to get & maybe post a pic of the unit? Thx in advance.

If it has reverse with optidrive and a 2.4ghz radio then you should be covered. Make sure the spring is attached to the throttle servo. The optidrive has a low voltage cutoff, but you know the right thing to do is keep the battery charged up.

Fail safes can be in the RX or separate! They are designed to set a servo to stop or relax, when the radio looses signal or if detects low voltage. The stock RX (receiver) with Opti-drive has it.

The rx has a failsafe for signal loss, the optidrive is for loss of voltage, and the servo spring is for a complete loss of power.....if it's a traxxas 2.4 system.

Thx for clearing these up sir, I was wondering about the runaway RC. My revo came with an opti drive, reverse, & a 2.4 transmitter.
