So, I have my revo out and it's running fine, making high speed runs, when I hit a bump and the truck flips. At this point I was at full throttle and in 2nd gear. When it flipped, I heard the motor "slip", it rev'd up REAL high then cut out.
At first I thought I grinded a gear down in the tranny, so I tore it apart and every gear looks fine. No apparent damage.
I put the truck back together and it runs, but it has to rev up much higher than it should to move.

Here's the strange thing: in reverse, there's no slipping/sluggish behavior at all. The revo is very quick and snappy, just not in reverse.
I've searched around but can't find anything related so I've started this thread to see if anyone knows why this is occurring.

If it flipped and revved up and quit while on it's back, that's normal, because it leaned out then ran out of fuel.
Hold it off the ground and throttle it in short bursts in forward and reverse, and see if it responds differently.
Do the same with it on the ground and let us know what you get.

ok

I know that the truck can sometimes cut off while upsidedown, but that's why I have 4 loops of fuel tubing (almost 2 ft) to eliminate this as much as possible.
What happened to me wasn't this, it rev'd up real high really fast, like in a half second. After this, my forward movement was affected. I hit the gas, and it takes wayyyy more power to just barely move than it ever did before. I have my spur gear tight and CB is good to go because when I flip to reverse the truck flies like normal.

Is it possible there's a one way bearing inside the tranny that may have gone bad? I know all the gears' teeth are fine, but I don't know what else could cause this.
