Revo 3.3 transmission ??'s

i have a few questions bout the revo 3.3 trans...i was having issues with the trans in the truck that i bought it with, reverse was blown apart and then ended up warping something in the trans, you could turn the shaft about 3/4 of a turn then it would bind up. i took it apart and cleaned all the debris out of it, with no help of the situation. i just acquired a f.o.c. trans from the new revo 3.3, but when i have it hooked into my truck the throttle doesn't work due to the opti drive sensor no longer being needed in this new trans.i searched about doing the f.o.conversion and all they basically do is just unplug the sensor but still have control over the throttle servo. which i do not. it is as if the throttle servo is unplugged...am i missing something here? any help will be usefull to me, thanks in advance guys

I bought mine with the FOC already installed, and the OptiDrive was literally just removed. Throttle Servo plugs into my RX directly as well as Steering Servos...and it works great for me. First time I hooked up my RX I did have the connector upside down though ;-)

well i just completly removed opti drive completly and now it works...i liked having the light up battery meter thing it had built in tho i wonder if i can add an aftermarket one to this radio??
