So i found a revo 3.3 that a guy has locally and the ad was listed to have a revo 3.3 that is all aluminum a picco not sure what size with 4 sets of rims and tires and all stock parts from the build says there is 3 of almost all parts and a extra motor not sure of brand on it but he says there is enough spare parts to build another truck he wanted 350 for it but texted me and said he would take 200 even as a roller by its self seems like a killer deal bc it has so many aluminum parts jw things to look for tht would be a problem on a revo i havnt ever owned one b4

Personally I hear the word aluminum and I run for the hills. I beat on my truck to much to trust aluminum to not bend.

i recently got a all aluminum slayer... revo, is what it was labled as, but anyways, i ended up buying all sorts of nick nacks, and I'm in about 100 in extras to replace the aluminum and other missing parts, or parts to rebuild. I'm not done either. but yea its still less than a new one for sure. mine came with a 3.3 motor, for 100 bucks. so unless its got all digi servos, and a nice reciever, id pass on it. now that i have the hindsight.

if hes got the stock plastic parts to include in the roller, id do that.... or ask how much for a plastic roller...

Aluminum parts cost alot to put on, but really kill the value of a Rc, especially to anyone who knows anything about aluminum parts, they look good on the shelf but can't take a beating like even a stock out of the box RC, i would actually pay less for one thats all aluminum that i would thats all RPM. Just my .02

You're better off with Tekno carriers than aluminum.

Childress, it depends on exactly what parts are aluminum, how many there are, and what brand they are. I'd look the pictures over real good, or ask for more pics. If the pics look good, buy it for $200. You can always turn around and sell the items you don't want.

Well i bought it and it was a good deal to me i couldnt pass it up. It is all aluminum and I'm aware that they bend i dont bash my trucks super hard so i think ill be ok but the truck also came with extra a arms front and rear aluminum and plastic also a set of integy piggyback shocks 4 sets of springs a couple differentials 3 sets of drive shafts and a bunch of other parts way to many to list also 3 bodies stock one custom painted and a challenger rt clear body I'm thinking sell my spare aluminum arms and get some rpm arms

I would ditch the integy arms for sure, i would also check all the bearings after i cleaned it, looks like he nver cleaned the truck much less serviced it as it should have been, i think you done fine for 200 bux with the picco motor, a good bath and service and it will look like a different truck, Did you hear it Run?

na didnt hear it run but i bought it as a roller if the motor runs its just a plus i knew i could part it out for more than what i payed for it plus all the extra parts along with. but i removed the motor and the piston isnt burnt on top and it still has good compression havnt disassembled yet to check for rust on crank and shape of piston but i figure its gonna run

also i know with all the aftermarket parts it may not be identifiable but I'm wondering what model this truck is it it does have optidrive

Looks like it may be the 3.3 5309 model. I had a 5310 shorter chassis version and it looks like yours has a bit more space between front shocks and transmission.

actually come to think of it i think the owners manual was at the bottom of the box of all the stuff so that should give me the model number but i think your right tho i recently looked at a 2.5 r and mine seems larger than that one was. it also came with a os motor i dont know anything about he said if i could find the head bolts for it it would be a good motor ill take a pic of it tonight and post

I would get rid of all of the Integy parts. Too many bad experiences with them myself. Integy is a 4-letter word.

Yes it does have the Optidrive.

OS is a good engine. Probably got an OS .18 or maybe a .21. I run that same picco .26 max on my tmaxx. Its a very strong and good quality italian mill.

Opti-drive yes, reverse, no. The way it is set up right now makes it a cross between 5308 and 5309, but revo parts are about 99% interchangeable anyway. All you really need to know is that it's a "3.3" chassis.
Integy parts are shiny, but soft. You have enough crap there to easily earn you back $200 on ebay.....Good score.

It still has the reverse servo installed just no linkage and nothing on the horn. will be removing it b4 i get it going doesn't have a receiver gonna have get one but I'm gonna see if everything is functional tonight gonna use a reciever off another car

Thats the first thing i said i was gonna get rid of lol. I'm gonna take some parts off and sell them along with some of the spare parts including that pos duel exhaust id rather have what comes stock with the revo 3.3 than whats on it

Couldn't go wrong for 200. Clean it, fire it, bash it, fix what breaks. You might be surprised, but you'll deffinatly have fun!

Thats what i said I'm gonna work on getting it cleaned up this weekend I'm sure cleaned up its gonna look good on my rc table lol all that dirt on tranny and shocks like that makes me thing the fuel tank was leaking or possibly the motor ill just have to get it running and see what happens I'm guessing its the tank tho bc the guy had old fuel in the tank that i emptied as soon as i brought it home but i realized there was fuel in it in the first place bc while i was inspecting it upside down some fuel was on the tank when i turned it back over. Just wanting on my next check to buy a couple things for it to get it going
