I dug my old Revo 3.3 today and saw what I needed to fix it. The only question I have is about the connection rod, I work on motorcycles and know how to tell if the rod is bad on them. " Like checking the bottom bearing by turning the crank to check for hard spots and up and down play! just wondering if it was the same or maybe it was a good rule of thumb to do it everytime you replace the piston and sleeve? Only reason I'm asking is because I see a piston sleeve kit and a piston rod sleeve kit. Just wanting to do it right the first time and not blow money up a wild hogs but!!":p:

Dollarhobbyz have em cheap. Iv bought a full motor in parts from them and just ordered a 380 velineon motor. Heaps cheaper than other stores

Get the traxxas piston/sleeve and an RB Mods connecting rod. The traxxas rods have a history of breaking so if you are replacing it I would atleast get a decent upgrade.
