Hi,
My revo has till now done around 20 tanks...Today, i noticed that the truck isnt shifting into its 2nd gear once it gets heated up...Also, there was a change in the sound it became kinda heavier muffled sound as if the truck is struggling against resistance.....stopped picking up the speed also.

Is dat a clutch proclem, i mean the clutch slipping? Sorry, if I'm not using the right technical terms..

Help

I'm not saying this is the problem, just trying to brainstorm with you and thow some ideas out there. With that many tanks on it the piston and sleeve might be getting warn down. So when it heats up compression is leaking past the piston which I believe would make it rich and it won't poop into 2nd when it's rich. Doesn't mean the piston and sleeve are shot or anything, just warn in. Just an idea.

Check your slipper clutch also. Good luck.

I am yet to have a problem shifting to 2nd gear that isn't related to the tune. Try leaning the HSN a little bit.

Surely will checkout the HSN and the slipper clutch...

i was having the same issue with mine and i tried and tried and tried to re tune it and i just couldn't get it to work then i tried to adjust the tranny shift point and that still didn't help, so after a while (thanx joe) we discovered that it was my primary clutch inside the tranny, i replaced that and now it runs like a dream and shifts right where it needs too, and it shifts quicker i might add
