Ok i have a question. What would it take to get a Revo 3.3 as fast as a E-Revo Brushless on 6S???
Is it something that can even be done? My LHS just got a ERBE in stock and I'm about to say screw it and go buy it.
 
i agree with TMAXX96 can't have too mant traxxas

i just found an axial .32 on ebay but i dont know if it would fit but its worth looking into
 
the Os .21 vg world spec is my contender. either that or a regular O.S. .21vg with a dragster mod on it. it would have dragster like acceleration and speed
 
Well since the e-revo is lighter in weight. The only thing you could do is put like a picco .26 and if its a 5309 take out reverse. And change our gearing. Maybe even do a tire change go bigger. Thats just MO though.
 
yeah lets see. O.S. .21 vg- 150 drag mod-150. and add an extra hundred in there for misc stuff

Thats just Mo. It would def. need a gear change the tires wouldn't hurt either. I heard they were fast and leave the nitro revos in the dirt. Well it all depends to on what battery the erevo is running and all of that to.
 
notice i said on 6S. I have driven a E-revo brushless on 4S and it was insane. Would throw rooster tails 10ft long. Ran circles all around me Revo 3.3

I missed that part sorry. But yes it would cost some money to do it, but i do beleive it is possible.
 
well isnt the picco .26 red dot stronger than the O.S. .21? I've been watching some picco .26 red dot videos on youtube and none of those are going to hang with a ERBE even on 4S.
 
i dont think there is an engine out that will move the revo like the brushless setup will on the e-revo. with 6s it should be close to undriveable. plus you get instant torque. there is a reason why the worlds fastest rc car is electric...
 
no you don't understand the picco is a good grunt motor. the .21 vg is a speed buggy motor. also applying the drag mod to it makes it simply put a lightswitch motor. you will wheelie on demand and go fast as the ERBE if not faster
