reverse wont work

when i hit the button on the controller the reverse pin doesent come out enough, i have to pull it out manuially,any ideas what the problem is?

sorry for all the posting guys this revo has allot of bugs

Check the linkage from the servo to that pin. Check the servo and horn for condition and travel, then your transmission for anything broken or out of the ordinary. If its an issue having to do with pulling out that pin, you'll find it in there. But reverse issues are common for Revos and there can be other causes. Post more info if that doesn't work.

mine did that ..had to take it apart and clean it......where the shaft for the shift fork goes through the trans casing ...there is a little ball bearing that comes down on the shaft and kinda holds it by the grooves in the shaft .(when you look in the hole )...thats probably whats causing it to get stuck ..dirt must have gotten in .....mine has been working fine since ..but if it gets stuck on me again , I'm thinking of removing the small ball bearing

FOC is the way to go, less rotating mass and less to break
