I have a Revo 2.5R that runs great but for some reason it will not shift into reverse. I replaced the shift servo and the servo trys to shift it but the rod doesn't move. Has anyone ever had this problem? What is wrong with it, it seems like it is stuck, I can't even pull it out manually. I very seldom use a reverse but would like to fix it any way. Any suggestions or should I just pull the tranny and go thru it?
 
Pull the transmission. It sounds like the reverse gear may have broken like it did on my 3.3.
 
That must be a common problem with the Revo. My dad has the exact same Revo as mine but his has been converted to the TRX 3.3 and his reverse quit working last weekend. I guess after I get back from vacation next week I will tear it down and look at it.
