i have a question about reverse, will it work fine with out the opti drive?

thanks:)

Yes it will, but you run a chance of turning the gears in the tranny to scrap if you don't stop completely before shifting from forward to revers and vice-versa. I would recommend losing reverse and installing the forward only conversion (FOC). It makes the tranny much more durable and lighter.

Thats what everybody is going to tell you.

Personally I like having reverse, but I have chewed up a couple trannies.

The optidrive is garbage. Just dont shift while moving.

I run reverse without the OptiDrive and I haven't had an issue yet. The biggest problem is letting friends drive it and trying to explain how important it is to completely stop before shifting
