How long should it take to install the reverse module in my Savage RTR? I have never assembled or dissasembled a car or truck before, but am quite mechanicaly inclined.:cheerful: Are there any tips or tricks, or written instructions from you pro's out their who have done this before, or maybe things to look out for while doing this? I am hoping to be able to complete this mod within a couple of hours. Thanks everyone for your help!

It took me about 2 hours to install mine. The written instructions from the kit is pretty straightforward, just follow it step by step.
:D

yea it took me about 3 hours, becuase i did not follow the intructions :read: it was really easy

Yeah, about 2 hours, easy as falling off a log. Had nothing but trouble with mine, car kept taking off on its own or just did what it wanted when it wanted so i took it out and it works fine now. No reverse but i have legs.

The reverse module is easily the weakest link in the tranny. The output shaft sheared off on mine so I put the forward only shaft back in and it's business as usual. Unless hpi improves it I won't be putting it back in either. Pity since I liked being able to back out of jams but I'd rather do a bit of walking every now and then instead of tearing down the truck for a weak part.

i dont see what the problem is, it was so easy to get in and mine works GREAT :fro:
