For Christmas I got a resonator pipe for my Maxx. I was just wondering if it does the same thing for a Picco Max as it does for the stock 3.3. My grandparents sent me 200 bucks too so I'll be buying one sometime soon.

Wewt!

Woot! I got a Picco!

Even the box on this thing looks cool! I can't wait to have it assembled and break it in. I'm gonna need to get some different gears for the maxx too.

Cost me $208.65. And I got the mount free! I think I'm gonna use the included pull start rather than the sleazy start.

One thing though, the carb seems to be difficult to get in without messing up the gasket inside the neck. I'm thinking after run oil would help here.

Oh, and the guy at the LHS said that the resonator would be fine but that I should get a 1/8 pipe later on for the real power to come out.

Uhm... What's the best way to install the flywheel onto the crank? I don't want to damage it.

edit: Hmm.... I heated it up with a hair drier then slipped it on and tightened the nut real quick... It seems to hold pretty well, I can turn the crank with it without slipping. Do you think it'll hold without slipping at all?

Edit 2: Bah! I can't get the carburetor to open all the way. It opens to about 3/4 throttle then stops. I did try rotating the carb but it doesn't help. I tried messing with the screw on the back of the tq-3 but it doesn't appear to do anything. Does anyone know how to adjust the throttle endpoint on the tq-3?

Set your throttle trim all the way down, then adjust your idle. Make the mechanical adjustment by removing the control horn, centering the servo and then reattaching the control arm to the servo in the best position.
After that's been done, then you can mess with end points.

Yah, I figured it out. I had forgotten about the threads on the part that holds the carb arm. Lengthened that a little and now it works. Can't wait for break in tomorrow!
