I need a new bottom chassis plate for my RS4 2 RTR. Mine is all scraped up. I'd like something other than aluminum.

I'm not really sure anyone makes an aftermarket chassis for the RS4 2 in anything other than aluminum. But scratched chassis are just the nature of the beast. Since the ride height is so low, and they are usually driven on asphalt, they are all going to get scratched up. I have an RS4 3 and I just stripped all the purple off mine, polished the top side and left the bottom natural. Now the scratches dont show as bad.

I thought there were alternatives available?

Hardcore did make a ti chassis but I have only ever seen one and that was probably 3 years ago

Hardcore actually up until about a month or two still made parts for the RS4 2. They just recently dropped support.

Anyhoo, i got a stock chassis my RS4 2 I won off of eBay. It's not in the best shape but it'll work. Let me know if you want it. I also have a bunch of plastic parts.

I like the last one.....I'm thinking about getting that one.

Well today I received my wolf pack radicals chassis for my rs4 2 project and it's one of the best quality chassis i've ever seen. It's so stiff compared to stock, not to mention it's added adding more adjustability.

I have a stock chassis now, it's just all scrapped up. I'm calling this the right part aren't I? The long aluminum bottom plate?

I wonder what is better, the 'super' whatever that means, the graphite, or the aluminum?

Wouldn't those big holes cut out to spell RS4 weaken the chassis?

Try: hobbyetc.com they have alot of rs4 stuff on clearance.

For the main chassie stick to wolfpack or the HPI. They use a better grade aluminum than others that adds stiffness and acts as a better heatsink for the mill. No No on the graphite!

I've got your answer here. I have recently been talking to larry of F4i Racing. He makes titanium hop up parts for HPI cars. He is designing me a custom RS4 3 chassis made of titanium for a project I have coming up just send him a email and he can hook you up with anything you want. I'm talking with him about milling out the gearbox and engine spot for a lower center of gravity and having milled out spots to reduce weight. And if your break and/or bend it
the word is he will replace/fix it for free. (Don't quote me on that, just ask him)

His email is: f4iracing@ extremevelocity .net without the spaces in between.

I in no way work or am advertising for F4I Racing so don't say I am, just giving a suggestion.

If you want some testimonials on other forums just PM me. I don't want to get in trouble :nono:

Kwong: Ask him, might be pretty damn expensive though they are pretty tough to make I would guess.

Jonser: Can do, gotta get some money together. Project titanium brick anyone?

Here is a pic of the upper deck. Not mine mind you.

Heres my RS4 3, It has the HPI super chassie with the carbon graphite upperdeck.

By the way, why is you tank on backward?

Not my car.

Btw jonser Nice car. I was thinking of getting the HPI super chassis to eliminate flex but then I thought Why not go titanium for $25 more, so sent f4i racing an email. I have also seen the carbon upperdeck split in half from collisions and have seen pictures of these titanium decks coming out unscathed, hell, the titanium upper deck is the same price as the Hot Bodies graphite one, so which seems like a better deal, you know?

Here's some pictures:
