I was wondering where to buy replacement parts? I looked around on the traxxas site but couldnt find where to buy parts except upgrade parts. My LHS is at least an hour away and most of the time they dont have what i need. Thanks

my nearest lhs is 4 hrs away ...so i get most of my parts on ebay ...you just have to be smart and a bit patient ;) ..i got some realy good deals :)...like a complete revo trans with reverse ..slipper clutch and breaks for 12 $ :D

Parts?

Wow thats a score. I do buy some things from ebay also but i mean just those little parts that fail here and there. Like right now i need a clutch spring, Where can i find one. I didnt see anything on ebay.

do you still run the stock clutch ?? like this one ?

if so , i would upgrade to a 3 shoe aluminum clutch ..they are worth it ....i went through 2 of the stock ones ( broken shoe and spring ) so i got this one ..and i didnt have any problems since ;)

but i didnt pay what it sels for now ...i paid 15$ shipped ....now i see its 15,98 + 15$ shipping .....i heard that the integy ones are pretty decent

is it just the end of your spring thats broken ?( loops that hook together )..if so ...you can fix that ...just make another loop ;)

clutch

so the 3 clutch system would be better than the aluminum clutch shoes on the 2 clutch system?

.

Not to be a pest but one more question. I use the same stock clutch spring on the aluminum shoes?

yes you can ...but i would upgrade to the other springs if its possible ;) ..less chance of them breaking

The other upgrades i wld recommend for the Revo are:

Swaybar kit
150cc tank (if its the 125cc)
Failsafe
Alu 3 shoe clutch (like Macguyver has alread said)
RPM arms (RPM True Track at the rear)
17mm hex adaptors (if you have 14mm)

.

i just ordered the 3 shoe clutch set up. What does the failsafe intale? Just a spring?

ah

thats sounds like a pretty good investment. I have heard of them but didnt know exactly what it was. I know some about R/c, i first bought a Genisis from CEN racing but i didnt have great luck with it,always breaking outdrives and things for no reason.I will say they treated me real well by finally giving me an upgrade that does hold up for free. but the truck was not what i expected. Than i got this smokin deal on this Revo and like it much better already.

cool ..i love the revo ...its a cool little truck ..and easy to work on ;) ..it was my first nitro ..and i dont regret it one bit ...at first i was going to buy a cheap one but when i stumbled on the revo while shopping online , i was sold ..lol...i love the suspension on it :D

susp.

Ya the progressive rates cool. My Genises has dual resavoir shocks per corner. Hard to keep up on shock maintnence.
