Hey all, I have a .21 Ofna t-maxx engine . I noticed I am running 270-280 temp. I have been told blue thunder fuel will make this engine run a little hotter but that is what I am using and have. Can someone reccomend a replacement head that will help with the temp. I have the engine runnning really rich, but still running hot. Any help welcome. Thanks!

my omega engines seem to run hot, with small change at the carb. I keep stock heads on mine and I run about 280.

I like both ACNCM and Nova heads... They both work equally well... if anything, the acncm head cools better than i could ask for... You wont be sorry if you got either of them.

Have you tried sealing the carb and back plate?

Thanks everyone...Jon I am not familar with sealing the carb on the backplate..can you clarify for me? Tks....I will look at either head. I figured that would help, but was unsure what head to buy..

Smile...I bought that head and spoke to them as well. I think this will help..Thanks again everyone..Anything to know when installing?

Make sure everything is clean and you may want to get a new shim (head gasket) if yours is in poor shape. I'm not sure about the Picco, but I know on my 2.5 I had to rotate the head until one of the notches lined up with the HSN screw so that I could adjust it.
