Depends on what you mean by having problems wiht the diffs. Does it roll when you have it on the ground? Rolls but will bind up? With out knowing what the symptons are I can only guess at a couple things that could be wrong. One is yhou may have one of the Diff installed backwards. I have not done that in an XL and well didn't try the last time I had them opened up. I did do it successfully in the revo and emaxx. The two differerntial with either push toward each other or pull away from each other. May seem to work when the tires are not in contact witha surface but once they do it isn't goint anywhere fast. Another thought is maybe you didn't get all the peices of the blown bevel gears out the first time. The shrapnel WILL find it way back into the gears and can create a binding issue and tear up the new bevels you just isntalled. If you can't get to the center cups grub screw so you can remove the beveld gear? You may need a longer allen wrench, but you probably already knew that. Which savage is this? I got to the grub screws on mine from one of the sides by the tires after the tires was removed.
So give us a little more detail on what is happening and I am sure someone around here can help out. You'd be surprised as to how many have actaully installed the diffs backwards . lol
