Greetings,

I have a Medial Pro M2k (Novarossi based engine) and I'm trying to remove the head. I am going to get the thing pinched before the season starts. Might as well.

Anyways, I can't get the damned screws out. They are flat-head screws. Every screwdriver I've tried to use to get the things out has bent, although the screws themselves are in-tact.

Is there a special driver I'm supposed to use here? I've tried heating up the block but it's just not happening. Any pointers?

flat head screws?? on the head?? I'm sorry but WTF!! try using a soldering iron on the screws to loosen up the thread lock .. there some bit you can use on your drill to drill the screws out (yes you will need replaement screws) i forget the name maybe one of the other guys who have better memory can tell you.

I managed to get the things off; I went to the hardware store and got a screwdriver that was able to slip into the grooves perfectly. They all came out undamaged. Would rather they be hex screws though.

Anyways, now that I got the piston and sleeve out, I want to get the sleeve pinched. The compression on the engine isn't bad. It's still kickin' it but I figure it's my only good engine right now, so I'd rather get it going real sweet for the seasons' start, and probably not have to replace it or get it re-pinched this summer. I can't seem to find OS Rocket on ebay right now - does anyone have an e-mail address or a phone number for him?

Thanks in advance.
