hey guys i got my SS a few monthes ago and it drives great for the most part, i have had no problems bashing around the yard and stuff. But today i took it to the local track and i a noticed that once in the confines of the track barriers i am getting a lot of understeer. typicly i like to be able to slide into turns but it just isn't wanting to turn. i have a high torque steering servo so i don't think that could be causing the problem. it just feels like the front doesn't want to hook up. anyone know of a change in suspension setup or something to cure it? I once heard that if you pack the rear diff with heavy grease or do the mod to add an extra set of spider gears it helps a bit. but any input would be appreciated. thanks

i never had a problem, just did this cause it was recommended for .26 users...

thanks guys ill try that out in a while and see how it does. so just to clarify i should but heavy oil in the rear and lighter oil in the front if i want over steer right?

This is the race set up I got from one of the team Houston guys. It has helped me alot & the mod will help with the under steer problem.

Rear "dogbones" level

Rear 25wt oil with 1/2" internal limitter

Rear shorten rod to 43.5mm
-diffs (ofna diff oil)

Pro-line Mashers (could be better depends on your track)

insert out there, really helps with the steering)
