I can't believe that the Redskins sent 3 #1 picks and a 2nd round pick to move up to number 2 in the draft. RG3 isn't the type of quarterback that Washington needs. He is small, fragile and a run first throw second qb and not the 6'5" 230lb pocket passer that washington really needs. This is by far the worst decision by this franchise that I have seen in my life! Even worse than Haynesworth! The Redskins need so much more than a quarterback at this point. We need a franchise qb not another Michael Vick. I am so pissed right now I can't see straight! How could the redskins risk so much and will end up setting the franchise back 10 years for some never going to make it in the NFL running quarterback! This guys career is over as soon as someone like Demarcus Ware in Dallas or Jason Piere-Paul in New York plants him in the turf.

This is true! Maybe mike can give him some pointers on how to deal with cracked ribs! Lol

Couldnt believe the deal when I saw it either!! Fisher was either a great salesman or Shanahan was flat out drunk when he pulled the trigger on that deal. He's essentially giving 2 top 10 picks up over the next 2 years and a 2nd rounder this year just to move up what 4 spots??? WOW!!! Your right Dale - Like the Phins they need a whole lot more than just 1 player to turn them around and now they just gave up 3 for 1 guy who might be an average qb at best. Scrambling qb's never work out. Good Luck - Like us I think your gonna need it!!!

My point exactly. You give up 3 starters for one guy you have never seen throw the ball.

Thats almost as bad the Jets signing Sanchez to another 3 yr contract for $58 million. :whhooo:

Personally I'm happy with the deal. The 'skins were one of the teams said to have been pursuing Peyton. Now with the jets and skins out of the running my phins have a shot.

:)

I'm absolutely thrilled. Great deal Fischer made for my Rams.

Good For Fischer... but completely catostrophic for the Skins. This is by far the worse trade the Redskins have ever made, and could go down as the worst trade in the NFL! Ever!

If RG3 doesn't have a Stellar year than I can see it costing Shanahan his job. As far as Savagefan 04 - Disagree with ya bro. As much as its tempting to get him I really like the idea of Matt Flynn better. Our new HC is the old Green Bay OC and Flynn just came from that system so you would only have to teach the receivers and not the QB. Now from what I've heard is Wayne is willing to go wherever Peyton ends up for a "reasonable" offer. The 2 of them together in Miami with Marshall - Now thats something I'd love to see!!!

@phin fan. Picture miami getting Flynn to back up for 1 yr and learn under Manning. Imagine what he would learn? Mastery of the audibles and coverage zones...he would excel in the 2nd on that deal
