Ok so my friend bought him and his wife readcat. I don't like them I'm a traxxs guy through n through is thare Aney tips to make their japan junk keep up with my tmaxx that's not going to cost a arm and a leg
 
Yep simply sell it and put the money towards a good name brand rig like traxxas, losi and HPI. You a probably gonna spend more money trying to turn a redcat rc into a good rig than you would if you just did what i stated. Sorry but this is my honest opinion.
 
if ur tryin to save money its best to buy a used quality rig (hpi,losi,traxxas) then a new crappy brand (redcat,exceed.)
 
There is a reason that those brands (Redcat & Exceed) are so cheap. Your friend is better off either buying a better quality RC brand such as Traxxas, HPI, Losi or Associated.

If he can't afford a news rig, help him to look for a good used one. There are usually several for sale in the For Sale section here.
