I'm looking for some opinions on redcat racing nitro rc cars. I have a savage xl but my friend wants a redcat. I dont know much about them and i was looking for some opinions

Redcat are knock off junk.

Just say no to cheap knock offs like Redcat Racing.

A Hpi, Traxxas, Losi or Team AE is a good option to Redcat. They do make good 1/5 scale buggies but the 1/10 scale is not the greatest and parts support is so-so at best.

I tested a redcat volcano sv for awhile and all i can say is total junk.parts break just driving the thing.save for something reliable.

On youtube look up Alishanmao He is into redcats and has lots of videos of them. But I have never drove one or even seen one in person.
