Recommendations on tires/wheels...

So I'm looking to do a little bit of racing in the near future.... typical off road track with packed dirt straights and some semi-packed/loose sections for bumps and spines.

Any have any recommendations for tires? I've been using the stock Traxxxas chevron patterns up to this point, but the Sirio I've put into it has proven these to be not enough to transfer all of my power to the ground.

What's a decent set of all-around dirt track tires? I'm assuming small knobbies would be best for what I'm running on.. and handle the bashing I do in the meantime.

Should I try to bake/scrape my CA tire glue off the old wheels, or is there a better possibly significantly lighter alternative I should be looking at?

I don't really do alot of racing, but the best dirt tires I have found are Proline Bow Ties. These tires are excellent on hard packed, also bite real well on loose pack

You might try the ProLine Maxx Mashers. They are also a chevron tread pattern, but have more tread contact with the ground. I have run them on almost every terrain imagineable and they do really well.

I too run the mashers on rpm clawz stablemaxx offset wheels. I have run them on all types of terrain and found them to be great on just about everything except snow. My stock cheverons did much better in the snow.

I'm using the Maxx Mulchers, and they're friggin awesome on all types of surface except pavement. They're OK on pavement, but they really shine off-raod in the dirt. I'd reccomend them to anyone!

i have found that hte bow-ties and the mashers have been the best for me.
