Yup that will work so long as the connector on the switch is the mate to that red one. I have a similar one.

Okay cool deal....I just ordered my savage 25 and also ordered the receiver pack so I was only going by descriptions of the receiver pack. I wanted something that would fit into the receiver box...so I guess i picked the right one.

Reciever box and battery box are 2 different things right? Because I ahd this exact same reciever pack for my T-maxx and I had to mount it to the front shock tower. So I won't have to do that to my savage?

No, inside the savage radio tray there is a spot for yout battery pack, its under the reciever, in front of the servos. It'll fit fine.

baldie, on a T-maxx, the receiver box and battery boxes are seperate. However the five cell hump pack should have fit fine in your battery box for the maxx. I have a five cell pack in mine, and it fits fine. On the Savage everything is in one box, and I have a receiver, battery pack, and a failsafe all tucked inside, it's a little tight but if you keep it all neat it will fit.

yes it is right one, you will need a charger too though mine was 50 dollars.

How do I install the battery pack to where I'll be able to recharge it without taking the box cover off? Or will I have to take the electronics cover off every time I charge it?

Drill two holes in the top of your battery cover, and run the battery plug out one side and the other plug out the other hole, you will have to take the wires out of the plug to do it w/ a smaller hole, you'll have just the plug sitting on top of you box just unplug and charge!
