I bought a rechargable battery pack for the servos, etc on my truck, not sure how to install. The battery cradle is hardwired to the on/off switch, do I have to bypass this in order to use the rechargable pack?

You can do that or buy a switch with connectors pre installed. They come with a pig tail that runs out of the rx box so you can charge the pack without removing it.

the traxxas part number is: tra3034 Hope this helps it was only $5 at my LHS. You can disassemble the switch and their are a third set of tabs to solder wire to for a charge port, at that time i'd remove the wires from the orginal 4pk battery holder and solder in wire with a futaba/servo connector at the end. I added an additional futaba connector to the 4pk for a back up. <--Kind of a bitch to do cuz the switch doesn't have a lot of room inside but I like a clean look so I did this before I knew you could buy the darn thing for $5. I also have the futaba connectors if you need any(for a charge harness/whatever). PM your address if you want them, no cost.

Awesome, Thanks. I guess the guy at the hobby shop was too concerned with getting the up-sale that he forgot to mention this info.
