Hello Folks,

I've had my REVO all summer so far and it's great. I did just start having an issue with my reveiver battery not holding a charge (or so it would seem). When I connect the charger it starts to blink. I came back a couple hours later and it was still blinking. It only went steady when I turned the electrics switch on, but it went back to blinking when I turned it off. Is it possible that the charger is junk?

Could be a bad charger. Do you have another charger you can use? I picked up a cheap charger some time back just to charge my rx packs and that is all I use. When I got my revo I never used the charger that came with it. Call Traxxas customer service and they should be able to help you out. They'll probably send you a new charger or bat pack or both. Traxxas does have really good customer service.

have you taken the electronics apart?? if so maby you connected the switch back up wrong.. i had a switch with a built in charging jack but it would only charge if the switch was off.. if you connected it backwards it would only charge with the switch on..

Nope, never taken the electronics apart at all. I took the battery out to try and charge direct. I've been monitoring the voltage as it goes. Started at 6.3 and after 30 minutes it was 7.25. I am expecting close to 8 volts peak after the 90 minute charge time is up but that is a guess. I actually hope it peaks before the 90 minutes.

To cover my bases I did talk to Traxxas. For 20 I can send in any and all of my electronics and they will inspect, repair, or replace them. It's just down time that kills me. I'd go ahead and buy a new battery and charger but I'm scraping up $ to race as it is. Oh well, any help is more than I have. Thanks for the posts.

Did you plug the charger directly into the battery then and if you did, did it do the same thing (led) flashing?
