i've replaced the motor, and rear diff, a complete new one, all new gears, and rings...and the back wheels still dont move, the rear dogbone from the tranny isnt moving either, is it something with the brakes, cus one disc is kind of tight, or is it the tranny, which is what i think it may be...
here is a video

thanks

Sounds like the Tranny but I'm not sure, but maybe loosen the brakes (little screw at the end of the rod turn it to the left to lossen it and see what happens then maybe it ll let go of the rear wheels.. Lol i aint pro but I'm just trying to help. Giver a try..

where is the grub screw located? and what exactly is a grub screw, i am not familiar with that term...

It's like a set screw with a pin on the end. It screws into the side of the drive cup, the pin crosses through the output shaft. Flip the truck over and rotate the rear wheels by hand, watch the the cup at the trans, look for hole with nothing in it! lol

Here's a picture for reference.

it is missing...i will have to wait til tomorrow and hopefully i have an extra, cus i have a hole box of screws...but i prolly dont, and the hobby shop doesn't have much, i think its going out of business...know of any place that i can get one?

At least it's not a super expensive repair. Make sure you use blue threadlock when you install the new screw.

i found some grub screws online, but i dont know what size i need, and i dont have a micrometer to check...any other way of telling?

one more question, i found a grub screw and put it in, it appears that it will work, but does the screw just push on the cup that leaves the tranny...like is it supposed to go all the way through, or how do i know if it is in right?

It will give you the exact specs of the grub screw in the back of your manual. You'll probably be able to get one in a hardware store or Home Depot.
