1 loosen the bumper braces from the bulk head.

2 take the tank and slide it between the bumber braces like in pic # 1.

3 put the cardboard between the bumper brace and the tank like in pic # 3.

4 now take the fuel tubing from the carb and put it on the nipple on the cap of the new tank and put the new fuel tubing coming out the bottem of the new tank to the car.

now your done!!
now you will have 235cc of fuel and a primer

Does this only improve fuel capacity or are there any other benefits? Cardboard and rubber bands don't look very safe, it looks like one landing on the rear bumper and that tank is going to come flying off.

i am thinking of ways to screw it in to the bulk heads or bumper but I'm still thinking.

I still don't think that location is safe for a tank that size. There are impacts from the rear that are hard enough to bend the shock towers and puncture the stock tank, do you think the new tank will hold up to that punishment? I don't think so.

if you dont have reverse there realy isnt that much impact maybe if someone hits you from behind or maybe maybe a wheelie. your realy gunna have no direct impact.

Cartwheels, jumps, forward flips, backflips, all make an impact to the rear. If you only run on road you might be ok, but my Savage sees air anytime she's out. The rear tank conversion that have been done before use a small header tank that is usually mounted to the rear shock tower with a bracket. In event of impact the tank would move with the shock tower, and not get squeezed like yours will.

Good luck with your tank idea, please understand I am not putting your idea down, I just want you to be a safe and responsible driver. If you can figure out a safe way to mount the tank it will be better IMHO.

thanks i dont jump it crazy or anything i ride pretty hard but i have a parking lot behind my house so i ride there and behind the parking lot are train tracks were me and my friends built a huge clay jump and we got a poop load of air(pardon my french lol) and then they knocked it down.
