hi,

have the latest Savage X4.6, all stock but spur gearing.

i found an excellent bashing/racing track here around, there is multiple consequtive small humps on the ground and when speeding up on the track the truck's rear can't keep up - the rear will bounce, i think the front end acts better.

I removed the largest set of spacers from the shock towers on all 4 corners to get the CG lower, and it behaves now better overall, i tried also without any spacers but then too little support to suspension.

My question: what modifications should i make to the (rear?) suspension to make it more controlled on consequtive jumps. Thicker shock oil on rear? better shocks?? .... stiffer or softer?

Thanks for your comments :)

Take your spacers and cut them in half so they can be put back on the truck shocks, I did this for mine all the way around. It now rides nice and flat, and all the suspension works great.

Check your oil, make sure your not low or warn out and nasty. I chenged to a 30W oil and have had great results.
