I saw a vid on you tube with it. I was thinking that would be a cool option as my turning radius sucks and its easy to install as the front an back are the same parts.

Is there such a thing as a Y connector for the servo, can a stock radio, receiver and esc handle it. I do use a lipo. I would be using the stock radio and I'm not sure if full time rear steering could effect normal turning when making small corrections. I really dont want to invest money on a new radio and receiver with a 3rd channel, and I dont want to waste money on a mod that may end up being a dumb idea.

I dont have a mini here to look at but yes there are Y connectors. It would give you full time 4 wheel steering, but that would suck imo.

Yeah I figured it may be a disadvantage if I couldnt turn that feature off. A dig would be worth the money for a new radio and receiver but I have no idea if one is available for the transmission. The turning radius is huge, especially on my small track I made.

No I'm pretty sure there is not a dig for them since it is not allowed in 1.9 competition. If you were to get a TQ3 and do the 3 position mod, wich would be super cheap, then get a servo stretcher to give the rear servo end points, you could control it that way. A stretcher would be like $20, a switch prolly like $2 or $3 and a Tq3 with rx can be had for like $15 or $20 shipped...

The only problem I see with either one of the mods you are considering is that you can't use them in competition should you ever want to compete with it, I would do the servo mod so you can use a standard size servo if you have not already done so, upgrade the stock electronics, put after market shocks, different tires, these are things that will help it crawl better, before investing money into four wheel steering and since there is no dig for them that option is out, JMO.

Yeah next is tires, I find the stocks do okay but I'm not sure if its the light truck weight or the tires, if I'm trying to climb a steep rock and its slipping, if I out my finger in the truck it will stop slipping. I've put in weights and taken out the foam and that seems to help but I've only really ran it on my own track, and dirt hills. Havent found a good spot yet or looked into any places that have tracks. I've seen nice metal shocks with threads, around $40 are those a good upgrade compared to the stock shocks, and what is the normal weight of oil used?
I've also noticed the rubber is wearing away leaving shreds hanging on the tire. I've only had this truck for a week.

Chisels are short.

small tire. They are pretty good imo. Same height as the blue claws. I think the Flatirons are to tall.
