I have a losi after shock /xxl kinda a mix of everything but man when it runs its a screamer,, i have notice that I'm in front wheel drive only ,the back went out..I've checked everything as far as the drive shafts everything will turn by hand and all looks conected properly. I've tryed looking up but I'm stuck how do i tell if its the rear differential or the transmission. thanks in advance..:\
 
If the rear shaft turns I would say it has to be the differential. I would try rolling it on the front wheels by hand and holding the rear drive shaft with your fingers. If it feels like it's putting out good torque then I think it would have to be the rear differential. If you can stop it from turning with your fingers then maybe it's the transmission.

It's probably a broken drive cup going out to the wheel. I'm pretty sure mine stayed in there when it broke.
