I atempted a search with no luck, but does anyone know where to get more realistic 200M car bodies. I mean like a harder shell, real door, trunk, & hood lines. Something I can put LED headlights & tail lights in, mirrors...etc. Not the thin plastic with decals you have to paint. I know they would be heavier, but for looks, it would be nice. Thanks.

Tamiya may still make some. Lots of folks steal bodies off of cheap, walmart type rc's for this purpose. May cost you a little bit though.

Check out HPI's bodies, the most scale and accurate touring car stuff out there. I know they have a "tuner" kit with mirrors, wing, intercooler, etc. too.

They're still polycarbonate and need painting, but they're easy to find and use. Getting the hard plastic ones from a toy car to work can be a chore due to differences in scale, etc. It's not impossible, just a a pain...

HTH...

Ha, Can not beleive that walmart cars was not the first thing that popped in my head, or a car like that from anywhere. Only problem with that hough it that most of the better detailed cars are usually cast, and not plastic. Yes HPI does make some nice ones. Now This Jeep on the front page frm proline, that is what i'm looking for, maybe they continue this line with some more favorites. Thanks guys.
