I am about to but my new piston and rod together. And I need to know if both G clips go into the same side of the piston or one on each side.

Also when I get them together can I use after run oil to put the piston into the new sleeve? I hate to go out and buy a bottle of oil just for a few drops.

After this my toy is back in action.

Sorry for all these silly questions but I ve never done this before.

Thanks

No worries about the ?'s. What engine is this? Some engines have just one clip and a few have one each side, best bet is to find the manual online for it. Its worth buying after run oil becasue you're going to need it any way but if you don't have it on hand then you can use 3 in 1 or wd-40.

My motor is the 2.5 for TMAXX.

Ok one more ?

The bearings need to be oiled would the after run oil be ok to use on them?

Thanks again
