Has anyone had any luck running an RDLogics dual stinger pipe? My buddy put one on his savage with .30 motor but we can't get it to run properly. It's like it doesn't have enough backpressure to keep the fuel flowing to the carb.
It looks awesome, insanely loud but the engine cuts out at midrange. If anyone has any tips for running this pipe I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

Sounds more like your needles are way off. If you are not getting the fuel to flow properly and the pressure line has been checked then I would look to the needlles.

What are the temps when it cuts out? Does it run well on the low end? Lots of punch? Does it have any top end at all?

Look at the lines and then then carb needles.

We've tried tuning the needles. It has no top end and not all that good on the low end. We did not check the temp. We suspect the pressure, what is the proper way to check it? It ran fine before and after with an HPI purple aluminum tuned pipe.

Did you make sure there was nothing in the pipe PRIOR to installing? I blew into the nipple making sure there was nothing at blocking it. May want to use compressed air to do the pipe.

yeah, I had the same problem on a nitro mt with the crappy plastic pipe. My hint was that the engine would rev great when I opened the fuel tank lid when it was running. Turns out a piece of plastic from the pipe had fallen off and gotten lodged in the nipple. of course, with a metal pipe, it could be something else blocking it.
