I've searched this forum and found lots of info for T-maxx's and such but nothing for the MGT.

I'm looking at putting one of these, RDlogics tuned dual pipes on my truck. Mostly for show actually, i just think they look cool.

This is going to be a bashing only truck, no racing. I've read about all the people who claim they lost HP, and people who claim it made HP. I'm heavily into building Small block blown MOPARs, so I have a very good understanding on the effects of an exhaust on an engine.

I'm really looking for personnal experiences with this pipe on a stock or so MGT. Anyone able to chime in?

thanks,
janesy

I can't say much on the dual tuned pipes, but I certainly wouldn't mind hearing what you've gathered so far. I've got the 61850 One piece rear exhaust system and will be hoping to get good proformance from it using a OS 30 vg mill. I heard the same on the 10% lose of power with the dual setup, yet no positives. Any comments?

Has any one used one of these on a t-maxx with a 3.3? I am looking at getting one and want to know if it is a wast or not?

can't say that I have , nitroghost. Might try a different thread for that ond, bud.

they may look cool but they suck they will screw up your motor and make you have so many tuning and starting problems!

do not buy one
just buy a regular old tuned pipe!

RDlogics dual exhaust

The problem with dual, (and quad) exhausts is you lose all your backpressure, making tuning near impossible for all but the best.
Unless its possible to block one of the outlets so you still have the looks. The problem with that is they are designed with two so if you block one how much pressure will you get then.
Its a strange kettle of fish. I wouldn't do it so I wont recommend it to others.:)
