:angry:Has anyone ever heard of this truck? It is an 1/8 scale. I picked it up from my lhs about 6 months ago and it has never run right. I just looked over and though maybe I will make that my new project. Here is what the deal was with it.

I broke it in according to the 3 page book that came with it. After that it seemed like I was stripping a ton of spur gears. So I fixed that problem using the paper test method. The last time it was out, I would give it throttle and the engine would just rev up and down. Any clues on this one? My LST2 did this as well and that was a one way bearing problem. I have tried to contact RD Logic for three months with absolutely no response whatsoever, either by phone or reutrned email.

You guys got any suggestions to get this puppy running again? I can attached some pictures if it would help to see what the truck looks like.:\

Thanks
Mike

I've heard of that truck before. Its a copy of the HPI savage.

The engine sounds like it has an air leak. You need to seal it up with copper RTV sealant.

And i hope you have an air filter for that thing.

Yes, I do have an air filter. It has been sitting here in the office for months just broken down and I did not place it on for the picture thats all. It does have resemble some of the same looks as the Savage by HPI, but make no mistake it is definately not HPI quality. I can not even get a parts explosion for this puppy. How would I check for air leaks in the engine? Anything i can do manually?
