If I may add my $.02 here

I just went through the same problem on my 3.3, but I still have the stock pipe. If I gradually accelerated it ran fine, but if I pinned the throttle, it fell on it's face. When it second gear, it didn't have enough power to accelate and would die. So, I fattened (richened) the HSN up and wah lah! My advice is note your turns and fatten it up. It might make a mess, but at least you'll know. My $.02. BTW, sweet ride Rolex. Looks like a few paychecks to me. :)

That would be the compensation for not enough back pressure and lack of the tuned pulse aiding the engines performance, it's just a fancy muffler.

Funny cause before I got on here and started learning a little more I went all the way back to stock tune. Twice. and retuned from there with no rewarding results. It started pissn me off so I was drivin er a little harder over the jump we got and messed up my spur gear. As soon as I get the chance to replace that Ill try plugging two of the wholes but believe me, ill be taking the stock pipe with me for back up lol. Thanks everyone for your advice!

18 lbs. :whhooo:

In regards to pluggin acouple holes on the pipe, I didnt have any luck at all. Id have to plug atleast three and it looked stupid just smoking out of one side lol

Maybe try filling them in with JBWELD and just drill smaller holes once the stuff hardens? It MIGHT increase the back pressure to what it needs to be..

if you want awwsome power, clean thet RD pipe up, sell it
put the stock pipe on it for a bit, and get an Extreme RC Mods pipe...
The owner is a great guy to deal with... i had a detailed conversation with him, then talked to a friend who has one of his pipe...WOW is all i can say

I am now in the middle of selling my second truck so i can get one of his pipes,
