RC Driving Style
Dude. I was blown away, the smell of the exaust, the sound of all of the engines and all the tricked out cars! I watched some ofna buggys grab over 20 feet of air! I got pictures, they had a full scale monster truck, and I could sit in the f'ing rim! I took tons of pictures of the team associated monster, But it wont be out till the FALL of this year! It was great, i got lots of pictures. I will post them in 1 or 2 days! You guys missed out, but there was a s|-|i+ load of traffic, we moved 10 feet in 10 minutes. It was so sad, then there was a home depot expo and all these people had dirt in their hands 0_o Anyways, over all it was HUMONGUS, LOUD, FUN and of course, smelling great. I went to steel conflict and saw the judge fight (the judge has a big ass hammer that almost broke the floor when it missed the other robot) I got pictures of the sparks flying. I nearly got nailed by a titan, at the test me course thing. It jumped over the barrier and was barreling toward me, I ran like hell. Anyways, You guys missed out on so much (especially hott girls). Eh, thats my review. BTW, the boat part sucked, it was just a inflateable pool and they couldnt "open up" the boats so it was like a tyco rc boat. PM me if u wanna no more

Well around here our big expo is at the puyallup fair...only thing is that it's mostly airplanes...I wish we had an all out car one..that'd be sick
 
I wish i could have gone to something like that !! Theres never anything like that here !!!:sneaky:

Dude-everything I see the word Puyallup that stupid song comes into my head. "you can do it at a walk, you can do gallup, you can do it nice and slow so your heart wont palpitate....just don't be late....do the puyallup."

God I hate that stupid song more than just about anything.

Maybe we'll see you see you almost getting hit by the titan in RCCA.....
 
Sounds fun, I miss going to shows. I used to go to shows every year when I lived in Vancouver; went to car shows, home shows, outdoor shows, etc. The hot-rod shows were the best because they had race cars, monster trucks, street/show cars (some with loud boomboxes to show off), stadium trucks, and YES R/C toys, hell they even had batting/pitching cage! I even once sat in Kitt (from Knight Rider) some 15 years ago) and it was swell.

That was the life, but now I live about 300km east of Vancouver it really blows out here and all I have left to do in this dinky town is go to bars and drnk or do some backyard bashing.
 
I got some great pics of the full size Budweiser boat. and the Monster Truck. I got a lot of pics of the AE truck as well. I wasn't to impressed with it but its still a prototype.

The robot wars were awesome, I was right up in front for several battles. I hit the bots at the end of my tour and ran out of memory for my cam. I filled up (2) 128 sticks. Its amazing what a press pass will do for you. (Thanks RCNT :worship: )

Yeah, I think the AE truck was supposed to have double shocks for each wheel but they didnt put the second set on. One guy who ran the booth said its hard to drive in a strait line. But the robot wars rocked! Hey eddy, did you see the judge or who did you see
 
I might be able to get them later tonight, but unlikely. Probably tommorow, I got good pics of the buggys going 20 feet up.

God forbid you make that treacherous 3 min. drive through all that horrible California traffic and lung clogging smog. Your right I would not want you to risk life and limb for a few out of focus pics anyway. :naughty:

I've been to the budweiser shop. And the driver, dave villwock flies at my field...woowoo...
 
Any word on the pictures from RCX? I'd love to see what you had. I actually was part of the robot fighting competition there. My robot was a 60 lber and competed in the Botbash arena behind the Steel Conflict arena.

Yeah I've met him too. When I was a kid I used to frequent Seafair as well as race outboard hyroplanes. I worked as a staff member of seafair from the age of 16 to 18, mostly a bitch boy but I was still there. My parents are also still involved with the events.

One of the drivers of another boat, JW Myers (can't remember how to spell the last name) and I raced against each other in our teens.
