he is charging me 10.00 a person

originally, we had agreed on a flat 50.00, but now based upon how many people are coming, its gonna be closer to 100.00

i can cover it for one day, but thats all.
 
I don't know about the rest of us but I'd prefer to play on the off road track for the whole bash session, more of a chance to see some spectacular damage. How much to rent it out for the entire weekend?
 
I would like to do some onroad.

You tell us what we want to do while we are there. I don't know about the others but I have never been there so I have no idea what I would want to do. :)
 
El P - currently, a monthly membership is also 10.00 a head. So, if we rent it one day, we can go back as many times as we want for free, the duration of the bash. However, I have not discussed with him, renting the track soley for us on a multiple day format. To save money, would be happy having it to ourselves 1 day, and risking the chance another person or two might be there the other days? I have been out there 30 times, and never seen more than 1 other person, so the chance would be slim.

MCVickj - there is far too much to do here to even begin to see it all, however - the theme parks are one thing you shouldnt miss. Islands of adventure is geared more to adults, while the Disney attractions are aimed at youngsters. The travel channel has rated Universal Islands of adventure the best theme park in the world for 4 years in a row now. Tickets arnt cheap (60.00) but well worth it, and it shouldnt be too crowded.
 
screw the islands of adventure!! I just wanna bash and go to, ponderossa for breakfast, then to the hobby shop, then to the car wash, then to hooters!then to a pimp and ho party, then back to hooters!and oh yeah , we gotta go to eckerds and get another camera we wont use!

hey wait - we did all that already, lol. actually, i used that entire roll of film at the race this past weekend. Will post the pictures tomorrow.

IOA is a really cool park, i live here and still love it, so its something that is a pretty big deal for the out-of-towners.
 
UPDATE!

Alright. Need some answers from everyone attending.

I figure for one of the days, we can doa tourist thing. Have it narrowed down, but need some input as to what everyone would rather do.

We can: Go to Universal Islands of adventure theme park.
Go to Kennedy Space Center to see the Shuttle
Go on an Airboat ride and see some alligators

Also - Who here is a drinker, and who isnt? Do we want to go downtown, or to city walk one of the nights?

Another thing - although it might be cold - do we have anyone coming that hasnt seen the beach? it is about 45 minutes away.

Finally - what hotel ratings does everyone want to stay at? Should i be searching for the cheapest possible, or does everyone want something a lil nicer? also - how many miles away from my house and the track is someone willing to stay, for a cheaper rate? lemmi know.

I would love to see the Kennedy Space Center and maybe take an air boat ride while I am down in FL. I live 2 hours away from a theme park and I have only been there twice. I really don't care for em. Nope I have never seen Cocoa Beach.

What hotel rating did that Motel 6 have? That place was fine with me and was pretty cheap. I would say looking for places around that price range.
 
okay - 1 for KSC. MCVickj - no need for you to get a room, thought you were crashing at my place.

I would prefer to stay in Orlando, as opposed to driving an hour+ each way to KSC, so my vote there has to go to IOA. I also think City Walk would be great one night after bashing, theres something there for everyone.
 
they also offer group packages for citywalk, but its up to everyone if we want to be in a more private environment, or closer to the crowd, so that we can see all the 'fuzzy ducks'
 
Fuzzy ducks oh I want to go. OK well I want to go but I can't and probably y'all didn't want me to go anyways because I am so young.

OK Ton! I dont care what we do ,You know I am always up for anything, as long as we bash and eat, its all good! where am I staying?
