dcracer - yes - anyone can come, wether u have been an rcnt member for over a year, or over a day - u are more than welcome, and encouraged to come and be a part of these great bashes. if u are coming alone, see who else is, and maybe u can split a hotel room, like mcvickj and i did at the east coast bash in buffalo, ny.

I think we should pick a hotel/s soon. I don't want to wait till the last minute to try to find a room. I am going to have my wife do some hotel research and I will let you all know what I find out.

NCNitro - good idea, hotels will be much cheaper getting the reservations at least 30 days in advance.
HINT: get a hotel next to the Intl airport. that is about 5 miles from my house, and about 5 miles from the track where we will be bashing.

Just thought I would post to remind everyone that we are coming up on the 1 month mark until Janurary 7th. All of those who are going to fly better start thinking about purchasing a ticket before December 1st.

this is a good point - anyone who is flying down - ticket prices go WAY up when purchased less than thirty days prior to departure.
Also - to everyone attending - what budget do you wish to set for the hotel rooms. There are several hotels within 5 miles of my house, but all are a bit nicer, such as Raddison, Shereton, and I think one Holiday Inn. Prices are from 50-100 a night.
There are several budget hotels, like Motel 6, Econolodge, and the like which are about 30-50 a night, but are about 20-30 minutes away.
Just curious as to everyone's opinions on this.

Ah....6 weeks....I can't wait. Sunshine and 60-70ish degree weather. Just a lil better than this.....

Slothy - That was only for like two days max. All of tha t snow is gone. We had a few flurries this morning.
nitromaniac - It heaven for a few months. Well that is if you have a snowmobile to go trail riding.
NA - It is official. I just printed out my Passenger Receipt for my trip. Apparently this piece of paper and my drivers license is all I will need to get on my flights. I will be e-mailing you the details shortly. It pays to wait. The price of my round trip ticket dropped $15 bucks from yesterday to today. Not really sure why though. During the part when it asked me to pick my perferred seat the diagram made the plane look pretty full.

NA, pls stop telling us the temperture down there, ure making me feel cold. Its like 25 degrees outside. Its so cold my fingers felt frozen to the control wheel of my storm (running the storm while it was flurrying, what was i thinking). Anyway, i wish i could come, maybe next year.

Rooms are 89.00 per night. There is no additional charge for multiple people per room.
