RC Driving Style
Just returned from an 1 1/2 hour drive from Prospeed raceway. It was a very beautiful weather 83 degrees no humidity and a strong breeze. Diver and I were the only members for RCNT and we represented with a 2nd (Diver) and 3rd place (Team 17) finish! Prospeed allowed QURC to have it's own class with no restrictions, basically run what u got. We should see Jaime from Prospeed on here soon. He asked about us and what we were about. So I would like to say thanx to Markanda for the food and help and Diver for his assistance in fixing my MTX-3 before the main started, Diver's wife for cooking and Jaime at Prospeed Raceway for running a very well organized track. I'll have pics up soon.

Sorry Team, I need to corret you on that. Jesse, my brother, is registered here as Sl0eg1n so that makes 3 of us representing RCNT! so that makes it a 1-2-3 sweep! Jesse, Me then Team. WOOOOHOOOOOO! Makes it even nicer that his NTC3 beat your Mugen. :boxing: just playing.

I can't wait for July 18th when we all can get together again and make an even bigger showing for RCNT!
 
I think it's for Queens United RC Team. I may be wrong. But anyway, congrats on the great finishes. Not to doubt you guys, but there were more than three people racing right? Only kidding...LOL I've seen some of Diver's videos & it seems like you guys always have a really good turnout for events. Keep it up!

Gil, QURC stand for our r/c club aka Queens United R/C

Dig, yeah the event was covered under QURC at prospeed BUT it was the guys who originated from RCNT that swept the class.

The advice and tips that came from the posts here at RCNT helped me a lot when I was getting into this hobby. QURC is where I applied my knowledge from tuning and setup ... yadda yadda yadda. So, it was the RCNT guys that won. WOOOOOHOOOOOO! And yes there were more than 3 people running. There were 4 till 1 dropped out due to .... JUST KIDDING! THere were a total of 8 running in the final main.

It was a nice day for the racing but what made it nicer is that we were able run in our own class. If anyone here from RCNT would like to try some onroad racing but is still trying to learn how to control, tune and set up their car, it can be done at Prospeed R/C Raceway. All we need is at least 6 people and Jamie, the owner, would let us run in our own class.

IF you would like to get together as a group and race (in our own class or with the regular class) let me or Team17 know. I think it would be a good reason as well as a good time for all of us. May even be better running together in our own class since we can make it a "bring what ya got" type of deal.
 
I have a r-40 and my boy runs a yokomo and we want to go to this prospeed race. We are in the BX. Hit me up on aim so we can discuss how we can meet up.

The QURC/RCNT race was run yesterday. If there is an interest to do it again, we will post the invite.
 
We can setup up another date to go. If anyone else wants to go PM me or post here and depending on the amount of members we'll come up with a date.

All we need is at least 6 drivers to get our own class. I say we do it, it is a great way for us to spend the day as well as meet other members.
